Where are preschools located?

Preschool are located in suburbs throughout the Australian Capital Territory. There are 79 preschools in total - there is bound to be a community preschool within walking distance of most surburban centres.
In 2008 all preschools amalgamated with an ACT government primary school; this will mean improved educational services, curriculum delivery and facilities. Preschools will still be operated by the community association that started them and they will all retain their existing strong relationship with the preschool's surrounding neighbourhood.

There is also a preschool located in Jervis Bay (down on the south coast of New South Wales). This preschool and amalgamated primary school services defence personnel and the surrounding community.
